Free video analytics
Free video analytics — without paying for an enterprise tier.
Everything Loom charges for — free.
The word "video analytics" usually comes with a SaaS demo attached — a salesperson, a six-figure annual contract, a procurement cycle that lasts longer than the videos you\'re trying to measure. The two dominant platforms (Vidyard, Wistia) treat engagement data as an enterprise feature. Loom gates it behind Business at ~$18/user/mo.
Pullsy shows the same data — viewer, watch time, completion percentage, chapter drop-off — on every recording, free, with a privacy posture that\'s actually GDPR-compliant out of the box (EU-hosted, no retargeting pixels, DNT/GPC respected). For individual creators and small teams, "free video analytics" is exactly what it says it is.
What Pullsy shows for free vs what enterprise tools charge for.
Pullsy isn\'t the only analytics product — it\'s just the one where the free tier is the actual product. Here\'s how it compares to Vidyard, Wistia, and Loom Business.

Free view analytics — the headliner.
Pullsy shows you who watched, how far they got, which chapters they skipped or rewatched, and what they asked the video — on every recording, free. Loom gates the same data behind Business (~$18/user/mo). For a team of five, that's $1,080/year for the same view.
GDPR / EU-hosted / no third-party trackers.
Pullsy runs on Cloudflare infrastructure in the EU. Viewers with DNT or GPC browser signals are recorded as anonymous placeholders. There's no retargeting pixel, no advertising ID, no fingerprinting. The recording owner is the only party who sees the analytics. Compared with Vidyard (varies), Wistia (US-hosted), or Loom (US-hosted), Pullsy's privacy posture is the cleaner default for EU-based creators and viewers.
Analytics + Ask-this-video + transcript — all in one place.
Pullsy's analytics live alongside the auto-summary, chapter list, full transcript, and Ask-this-video panel. You don't have to export data to a third-party tool to get a complete picture — the watch-time curve, the chapter drop-off, and the question log are all on the recording's admin page.
Frequently asked questions
Is viewer data sold to advertisers or third parties?
No. Pullsy does not sell viewer data, share it with advertisers, or feed it into third-party retargeting systems. The recording owner sees their own analytics; that's the only consumer. Pullsy is funded by optional paid tiers (Pro, Team), not by monetizing viewer data.
Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. Pullsy is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure in the EU. View data is processed under the recording owner's legitimate interest in understanding who engaged with their content. Viewers can opt out via DNT/GPC browser signals. There's no third-party retargeting, no advertising IDs, no fingerprinting. Pullsy does not place cookies on viewer browsers for analytics.
Can the viewer see the analytics too?
No — analytics are visible only to the recording owner. Viewers see the video and the Ask-this-video panel; they don't see who else watched or how far they got. If you want to share analytics with a co-worker, you share the recording's admin link (which requires being logged in as the owner).
How long is analytics data stored?
On free and Pro tiers, view analytics are retained for the lifetime of the recording — delete the recording and the analytics are deleted with it. Team tier supports configurable retention windows (e.g. 90 days) for organizations with specific data-retention requirements.
Is there a heatmap view?
Not yet. Pullsy currently shows viewer count over time (the watch-time curve), chapter drop-off, and viewer-by-viewer breakdown. A heatmap view (showing where on the player timeline most viewers paused, rewound, or skipped) is on the roadmap. Until then, the auto-chapter drop-off chart covers most of the same use case.
Is Pullsy affiliated with Loom?
No. Loom is a trademark of Atlassian. Pullsy is an independent product not affiliated with or endorsed by Loom. Plan details above are dated to July 2026 from Loom's public pricing pages.
